Laribit Gilly Torch
APP Waterproofing Membrane
Characteristics
GILLY is a prefabricated membrane made of bitumen distillate modified with elastomeric and plastomeric polymers. GILLY P is reinforced with spunbond non-woven polyester filaments stabilized with fibreglass, while GILLY V with reinforced glass fibre. The waterproofing compound obtained through the complete homogenization of bitumen distillate with elastomeric and plastomeric polymers is added with special additives, and offers:
- resistance to U.V. radiation
- resistance to temperature change
- resistance to O3
- resistance to chemical corrosion (acids and salts)
- waterproof seal
- good adhesion when heated to all supports
Methods of application
- The membrane is usually applied by heating the bituminous blend using a gas burner or hot air guns in special cases.
- Always use the individual protection devices specified by law.
- Never use these systems on heat-sensitive supports or insulation.
- Scrupulously respect the recommendations and warnings for use provided on the product’s technical data sheet.
- The waterproofing system and the products recommended can be modified as required by the roof’s constructive type and size (please consult our Technical Assistance Service).
- Conduct regular maintenance on the roof in order to remove detritus, mud, grass, etc., and to keep the operation of the waterproofing system and accessories (drains, TV antennas, air-conditioning systems, etc.) under control.
- Whenever there is reason to believe that the element to be waterproofed has traces of residual humidity (e.g. during renovations of existing roof coverings, applications after abundant rainfall), vents should be positioned in such way as to permit its elimination.

SEALBOND 518-FE
FAST SETTING EPOXY GROUT
SEALBOND FAST SETTING EPOXY GROUT (518-FE) is 100% solids epoxy resin, especially formulated for grouting applications with high mechanical and adhesive strength. It has a lower to medium viscosity which cure to a material superior to concrete in tensile strength, compressive strength, and chemical resistance. It is primarily designed for fast tract projects, formulated to have a faster setting time without sacrificing quality and its distinctive properties.
APPLICATION
- used to secure reinforcing rods, and tie rods.
- used for anchoring bolts of equipment.
- used for setting or installing heavy machinery, building columns and dowels.
- used for repairing concrete foundation which have been cracked or spalled, thru pressurized epoxy injection and grouting process.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove all deteriorated concrete, dirt, grease and any bond inhibiting material.
- Sweep or if necessary blow clean with an air compressor.
- Surface must be dry.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
- Stir separately Component-A and Component-B of SEALBOND EPOXY 518-FE using electric drill or manual mixer.
- Pre-measure enough quantities of resin, hardener and fillers (clean, dry silica sand) to be used.
- Mix thoroughly resin with fillers and then the hardener. Mixing Ratio of epoxy is 1 part by volume of Component-A to 1 part by volume of component-B. Ratio of filler to epoxy admixture is 1 part by volume of Epoxy Admixture to 1.0-1.5 gallons of filler depending on the consistency. Any change from the recommended proportion will affect its quality. Scrape the bottoms, sides and corners of the container to ensure complete and full blending. Prepare only enough quantities that can be used within the pot-life period. Do not delay application.
- Install equipment by embedment, modern rail, or sole plate-mounting methods.
PRECAUTION
Keep covers tightly closed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent skin irritation.

SEALBOND 515-MG
EPOXY MACHINE GROUT
SEALBOND EPOXY MACHINE GROUT (515-MG) is 100% solids Epoxy resin, specially formulated for grouting applications with high mechanical and adhesive strength. It has a lower viscosity, which cures to a material superior to concrete in tensile strength, compressive strength, and chemical resistance.

SEALBOND 458-PE
PILESPLICING EPOXY
SEALBOND PILE SPLICING EPOXY (458-PE) is a two-component fast setting epoxy formulation with a high chemical and physical strength, designed primarily for bonding concrete piles. The cured resin provides high compressive and flexural strength to the joined when used with fine aggregates as filler.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be bonded must be dry and free of oil, dirt, grease, rust and other contaminants. Spoiled concrete or loose particle must be completely removed. The use of compressed air is highly recommended for cleaning the dowel holes in order to obtain a clean and structurally sound surface.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Pre-measure enough quantities of resin base, hardeners and filler to be used. Sand should always be clean, dry and bagged. Mix thoroughly resin base with aggregates then add the hardener.
Pour the admixture on the top surface of the lower pile and allow to flow into the dowel holes, to avoid air entrapment. Lower the upper pile and check for correct dimension and adhesion between the piles. Allow the epoxy mortar to cure.
CLEAN UP
All tools and equipment must be cleaned immediately after application. Use SEALBOND EPOXY REDUCER to remove excess resin and hardener. Cured epoxy admixture can only be removed by grinding.
